- People who follow their dreams and romances, listen to me. We are representatives of the paradise called 'The Garden of Elysion' called the Eden group . There is no place like this anywhere.
Initially founded in A.W. 357, the Eden Group is a network that distributes work to adventurers. After a scandal in A.W. 690, the group was disbanded. In the wake of the Morroc Incident, the group was reconstituted and has since become a Midgard-wide guild of adventurers that aligns itself with no nation.
A.W. 357. A time when the world was recovering from the horrors of the thousand-year war. During this time, many people took pilgrimages to Morroc to pay their respects to the hero Thanatos, who sacrificed himself for the sake of the world. The Eden Group, initially named the Chivalric Order of Eden, was formed to protect the pilgrims who travelled from Prontera to the desert city. They were named for the mythological 'Garden of Eden', where Idoun's golden apples grow. Though somewhat heretical to the teachings of the Church of Odin, the founders of the Order believed that through their good deeds, they would be welcomed into Idoun's garden when they left the world of the living.
In its infancy, Order members styled themselves as Knights of Eden. The founders of the first Knights of Eden were Sirs Godfrey d'Omer and Andre Montbard. These men of minor nobility had few resources to their name and would often share a single Peco Peco.
