Description

Kasai is a tall man with a wiry, athletic build. He often wears dark, loose clothes. Were it not for the curved horns protruding from his head, his most striking feature would be his long crimson hair. His eyes are an intense blue.

Background

From Geffenia he hailed, centuries fled from the destruction of that once-shining jewel of Midgard. Kasai, born as Bluhend, was born of violence, the result of a demon coupling with a dokkalalf during Geffenia's fall. Despite the dark circumstances of his conception, his mother raised him with as much love as she could. His horns were a constant reminder of pain. There were many children among Geffenia's remains that bore the marks of demonic heritage. The earth had swallowed the city, and in the strata below where Geffen would one day stand, much of the remaining elves eked out a dark existence with the more civilised demons.

Geffenia at that time was a lawless place ruled by power. Bluhend witnessed his mother's murder at the hands of those who thought Kasai should have been thrown into the abyss at his birth. Bluhend was taken in by a vampire who sought to bring order to Geffenia, and recognised Bluhend's potential.

A child born in the shadows of tragedy, hatred and pride about him like swaddling.

Enslaved by the faithful of a god not his own.

Breaking his chains, he travelled. On the tides and the eight winds he travelled.

A demon of flame and wind, to his homelands he returned.
