• Absent-minded- Preoccupied to the extent of being unaware of one's immediate surroundings. Abstracted, daydreaming, inattentive, oblivious, forgetful.
• Abusive- Characterised by improper infliction of physical or psychological maltreatment towards another.
• Active- Energetic, vibrant, enjoys activity.
• Addict- One who is addicted, as to narcotics or a compulsive activity. (gambling, drugs, sex, etc. List specific addiction.)
• Adventurous- Willing to take risks or to try out new methods, ideas, or experiences.
• Affable- Friendly, good-natured, or easy to talk to.
• Affected- Uses behaviour that is artificial, pretentious, and designed to impress.
• Affectionate- A person who readily feels or shows fondness or tenderness.
• Afraid- Prone to feeling fear or anxiety; frightened.
• Aggressive-Ready or likely to attack or confront, or pursuing one's aims and interests forcefully, sometimes unduly so; characterised by or resulting from aggression.
• Aimless- Devoid of direction or purpose.

• Alcoholic- A person who drinks alcoholic substances habitually and to excess or who suffers from alcoholism.
• Ambitious- Having or showing a strong desire and determination to succeed.
• Amiable- Having or displaying a friendly and pleasant manner.
• Angry- Having a strong feeling of or showing annoyance, displeasure, or hostility; full of anger.

• Awkward- Characterised by a lack of grace or conversational skill.

• Bad- A person that is corrupt, sinful or lacking in moral fibre.
• Badass- Likely to cause trouble; tough and dangerous. An impressive person of superlative skill. Or, as Urban Dictionary puts it, "Ultra-cool motherfucker"
• Bashful- Reluctant to draw attention to oneself; shy.
• Bewildered- Characterised by a perplexed and confused manner.
• Bigmouth- A loud-mouthed or gossipy person.
• Bigot- One who is strongly partial to one's own group, religion, race, or politics and is intolerant of those who differ.
• Blasé- Unconcerned; nonchalant. Not easily ruffled; sophisticated.
• Blowhard- A blustering boastful person; a braggart.
• Blunt- Characterised by directness in manner or speech; without subtlety or evasion. Frank, callous, insensitive, brusque.
• Boastful- Showing excessive pride and self-satisfaction in one's achievements, possessions, or abilities; thrasonical.
• Bold- In a bad sense, too forward; taking undue liberties; over assuming or confident; lacking proper modesty or restraint; rude; impudent. Abrupt, brazen, cheeky, brassy, audacious.
• Boorish- Ill-mannered and coarse and contemptible in behaviour or appearance.
• Bored- Characterised by weariness due to lack of interest, stimulus or occupation.

• Callous- They are hardened to emotions, rarely showing any form of it in expression. Unfeeling. Cold.
• Candid- Truthful and straightforward; frank.
• Capable- Characterised by an ability to achieve efficiently whatever one has to do; very competent.
• Capricious- Given to sudden and unaccountable changes of mood or behavior.
• Carefree- Free (either due to reality or a negligent attitude) from anxiety or responsibility.
• Careful- Habitual attention to and avoidance of potential danger, mishap, or harm; cautious.
• Careless- Not giving sufficient attention or thought to avoiding harm or errors.
• Caring- Displaying kindness and concern for others.
• Caustic- Marked by incisive sarcasm; sharp-tongued.

• Shallow- Lacking depth of intellect or knowledge; concerned only with what is obvious.
• Sharp-witted- Clever, keen of intellect, swift of thought.
• Shiftless- Lazy, unmotivated.
• Shifty- Having the appearance of someone dishonest, criminal or unreliable; such as someone with shifty eyes.
• Shrewd- Showing clever resourcefulness in practical matters; artful, tricky or cunning.
• Shy- Reserved; disinclined to familiar approach; timid.
• Silly- Exhibiting a lack of wisdom or good sense; foolish. Or lacking seriousness or responsibleness; frivolous.
• Simple- Having or manifesting little sense or intelligence.
• Sincere- Saying what they genuinely feel or believe; not dishonest or hypocritical.
• Sly- Artfully cunning; secretly mischievous; wily.
• Smart Ass- Thinks they know it all, and in some ways they may, but they can be greatly annoying and difficult to deal with at times, especially in arguments.
• Sneaky- Marked by deception and secrecy; furtive and surreptitious.
• Soft-hearted- Having softness or tenderness of heart that can lead them into trouble; susceptible of pity or other kindly affection. They cannot resist helping someone they see in trouble, suffering or in need, and often don't think of the repercussions or situation before doing so.
• Solemn- Deeply earnest, serious, and sober.
• Spendthrift- Someone who spends money improvidently or wastefully.
• Spineless- Lacking courage. Cowardly, wimp, lily-livered, gutless.
• Spiteful- Showing malicious ill will and a desire to hurt; motivated by spite; vindictive person who will look for occasions for resentment. Vengeful.
• Spoiled- Treated with excessive indulgence and pampering from earliest childhood, and has no notion of hard work, self care or money management; coddled, pampered. Having the character or disposition harmed by pampering or over-solicitous attention.
• Stern- Having a hardness and severity of nature or manner.
• Stingy- Extremely close and covetous; meanly avaricious; niggardly; miserly; penurious.
• Strange- Not normal; odd, unusual, surprising, out of the ordinary.
• Strict- Governed or governing by exact rules; observing exact rules; severe; rigorous.
• Strong- A person, place or thing that is noted as having properties of strength (physical or inner).
• Stubborn- Unreasonably, often perversely unyielding; bullheaded. Firmly resolved or determined; resolute.
• Studious- Given to study or thought; devoted to the acquisition of knowledge from books; as, a studious scholar.
• Submissive- Meekly obedient or passive.
• Successful- Having achieved popularity, profit, or distinction.
• Superstitious- An irrational belief arising from ignorance or fear from an irrational belief that an object, action, or circumstance not logically related to a course of events influences its outcome.
• Supportive- Providing encouragement or emotional help.
• Suspicious- Distrustful or tending to suspect.
• Sweet- Having a pleasing disposition.
• Squeamish- Excessively fastidious and easily disgusted.

• Taciturn- Reserved or uncommunicative in speech; saying little.
• Tactless- Lacking or showing a lack of what is fitting and considerate in dealing with others.
• Talented- Endowed with special, in particular intellectual, abilities; gifted.
• Talkative- Tending to talk a lot.
• Tardy- Characterised by lateness.
• Temperamental- Moody, irritable, or sensitive. Excitable, volatile, emotional.
• Temperate- Moderate in mood and behaviour; patient.
• Temptation- They have something that tempts, entices, or allures them, that is hard to resist. This could be anything, and can drive the character to do things of ill nature.
• Theatrical- Having a flair for over dramatising situations, doing things in a 'big way' and love to be 'centre stage'.
• Thorough- Painstaking and careful not to miss or omit any detail when given a task.
• Thoughtful- Demonstrating kindness or consideration for others.
• Thoughtless- Marked by or showing lack of due thought or care; careless; thoughtless; insensitive.
• Thrifty- Given to, or evincing, thrift; characterised by economy and good management of property; sparing; frugal.
• Timid-Tends to be shy and/or quiet, shrinking away from offering opinions or from strangers and newcomers, fearing confrontations and violence.
• Tired- In need of some rest or sleep; fatigued.
• Tireless- Indefatigable, untiring and not yielding to fatigue.
• Tolerant- Tending to permit, allow, understand, or accept something, even if they find it disagreeable.
• Tongue-tied- Speechless or confused in expression, as from shyness, embarrassment, or astonishment.
• Touchy- Easily offended; oversensitive; volatile.
• Tough- Strong and resilient; sturdy. Physically or mentally hardy.
• Troublemaker- Someone who deliberately stirs up trouble, intentionally or unintentionally.
• Trusting- Showing or tending to have a belief in a person's honesty or sincerity; not suspicious.
• Trustworthy- A trustworthy person is someone in whom you can place your trust and rest assured that the trust shall not be betrayed.
• Truthful- Characterised by telling or expressing the truth; honest or candid.

• Ugly- Very unattractive or unpleasant to look at; offensive to the sense of beauty; displeasing in appearance. Uncomely, unsightly, unlovely, homely.
• Unconcerned- Showing a lack of worry or interest.
• Uncoordinated- Lacking physical or mental coordination
• Undependable- Unreliable: not worthy of reliance or trust.
• Understanding- Sympathetically aware of other people's feelings; tolerant and forgiving.
• Unforgiving- Unwilling or unable to forgive. Unforgiving people tend to hold grudges over the smallest things.
• Unfriendly- Antisocial, unpleasant, hostile. Devoid of or antagonistic to social instincts or practices.
• Ungrateful- Not feeling or showing gratitude; an ingrate.
• Unhappy- Sad, discontented.
• Unkind- Inconsiderate and harsh in dealings with others.
• Unlucky- Marked by or causing misfortune; ill-fated. Destined for misfortune; doomed.
• Unmerciful- Characteristically lacking mercy; ruthless.
• Unselfish- A person who puts the needs and wishes of others above his or her own. Not necessarily submissive or subservient.
• Untrustworthy- Not worthy of trust or belief. Backstabber.
• Unpredictable- Difficult to foretell or foresee, their actions are so chaotic its impossible to know what they are going to do next.
• User- A person who uses something or someone selfishly or unethically.

• Vacant- Characterised by or resulting from lack of thought or intelligent awareness.
• Vain- Holding or characterised by an unduly high opinion of their physical appearance. Lovers of themselves. Conceited, egotistic, narcissistic.
• Violent- Prone to using unrestrained force to solve dilemmas.
• Virtuous- Having or showing high moral standards.

W

• Warm- Kind, hospitable or loving. The kind of person that makes friends easily.
• Weak- Lacking the power to perform physically demanding tasks; lacking physical strength and energy.
• Weak-willed- Lacking willpower, strength of will to carry out one's decisions, wishes, or plans. Easily swayed.
• Whore- Harlot. A prostitute, a person who is considered sexually promiscuous, considered as having compromised principles for personal gain.
• Wicked- Evil or morally wrong, often implies a sadistic streak.
• Wild- Characterised by uncivilised, unruly behaviour.
• Wise- Having or showing experience, knowledge, and good judgement.
• Wishy-washy- A person weak in willpower, courage or vitality.
• Withdrawn- Not friendly or Sociable. Aloof.
• Witty- Showing or characterised by quick and inventive verbal humour.
• Worrier- This character is a worry-wart. They are constantly fretting about something.

Y

• Young- This character is chronologically young; probably below the age of twenty-five. This implies, though does not necessarily dictate, a lack of life experience.

Z

• Zealot- An excessively zealous person; fanatic.
